New Parker Public Safety Building Approved

Concept View of Facilities Construction funded by Proposition 1

In May 2006 the residents of the City of Parker approved Proposition 1 for the initial design and construction of Phase 1 of a combined Public Safety building.  The new building was desperately needed as the municipal operations of the City of Parker have outgrown their surroundings

Space is a premium in the current Fire Station and for city services (including Police) located in the City Hall building.  When Phase 1 of the Public Safety building is completed the Public Works Department  will take over the current Fire Department Building and a growing city staff will take over the current Police area inside City Hall.

Benefits of New Public Safety Building – Phase 1
Phase 1 combines Police and Fire into a single, public safety building
  • Provides approx 17,600 sq. ft.
  • Addresses the immediate deficiencies of the current fire station
  • Addresses the immediate deficiencies of the current police facility
  • Addresses the immediate City Administration need
  • Combines areas of common police and fire need
